In addition, we examine Bill Black’s work on the three epidemics of elite control fraud and predation and how they led to the financial crisis of 2008.

  2. Bafin, Siemens, Volkswagen, Bosch, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Bayer-Monsanto,………brown paper packages tied up in string, these are a few of my faaaavorite things.

  3. This is interesting, and apalling, but how do we know that this is the highest degree of fraud? It seems prima facie unlikely that people this brazen would stop there. So before we start talking about regulating markets we need to think about how we can possibly know what is really going on in finance. I'm afraid Bill Black is nowhere near convincing me that he actually has any knowledge I would consider worth knowing. The more I think about what he said here the less convinced I am of his intentions.

  4. targeting the week, meek & ignorant: how many people were actually jailed for that? thanx BillBlack for explaining.
oh, did you notice? like so often, camera focuses on background instead of on d person :/

  5. Journalist in the mainstream media should at least try to explain what’s going on like the professor does here. Very insightful!

  6. The market does provide spontaneously when profits are to be had. That's the good news and simultaneously the terrible news. Maybe UMKC is the only economics school in the world teaching this. Yep and Steph Kelton and a few more right?
